Successful stallion Unaccounted For dies

22-year-old stallion Unaccounted For started his stallion career in 1996 at USA and then he was bought by The Jockey Club of Turkey and started to do his stud duties in 2002 here. After successful stud career which lasts 12 year, Unaccounted For died due to some complications on 29 May Wednesday night.

Unaccounted For is the sire of 174 individual winners of his 266 starters including 2010 Turkish Derby winner Mystical Storm, 2011 G1 Prime Minister Stakes winner Dervis Aga and some other Group winners such as Azaraks, Gulengul, Chi, Tenedos, Buenos Aires, My Sea, Don't Stop Me, Attacante, Yurttay, Pasifika, Tonya, Bankroll, Lady Liz and Midas Touch. Unaccounted For's runners have earned 20.486.614 $. through May 30, 2013.

Until starting his stud career in USA, Unaccounted For won 6 of his 17 races and earned 998.468 $. He won G2 Jim Dandy Stakes as 3-year-old and won G1 Whitney Handicap as 4-year-old. His sire was famous stallion Damascus' son Private Account while his dam was by Northern Dancer's son The Minstrel out of three G1 winner Mrs. Penny's daughter Mrs. Jenny.
